Grand Duchess is a 12 year old pony and a Welsh/Paint mare, 14.1 hh.
Duchess started showing since she was 5 years old at many different places. She did hunter shows (eha), dressage (edctsa circuit) through first level, she evented through novice level and did combined training shows. She jumped up to 3'8. Since her current owner has out-grown her, she is used for lessons and was a schoolmaster for a ten year old girl, who showed her in training level dressage.
She is quiet on the trails, including the beach and the mountains. Duchess is great bareback, perky, always alert and energetic.
Her favorite things: she loves to do her job, loves her cross-country, loves gymnastics, big jumper, loves to ride out with company and loves to be loved!
She is an easy-keeper, easy to work with, her ground manners are impeccable, she is quiet, stands still and calm, is good for farrier, easy to load and clip.
In 2009 Duchess produced a stunning colt and loved being a mother as well. She is currently in steady work and ready to go back to showing.
